The meeting in Brussels went extremely well. OpenESB has proved that it has a vibrant future as an open source integration engine which enjoys an impressive array of active healthcare , finance, utility and telecoms customers, as well as a keen array of contributors from across the world.
Although clearly wary of not moving ahead too fast, the group decided to preprare the groundwork necessary to become independent.
The next steps include planning new environment, promotion of the new environment and wider consultation of the community members concerning migration activities.
The group also enjoyed getting together and networking face to face , many for the first time and Brussels proved to be an excellent, if expensive, location for such as gathering.
Looking forward to developments on this excellent platform.
